Sermon…
Hey everyone (the one or two people that read my blog)!
A lot has happened since my last blog post, especially since I am terrible at keeping my blog updated.
One of the opportunities I had this past Sunday was to preach at church. I thought it would be cool to post my sermon to the blog, since I am so terrible at writing blog posts. It’s an easy way to update this thing without really doing much work
Here is the link to the podcast if anyone is interested in listening:

OMG…..I just listened to your sermon and your mom was right!!! You did an AWESOME JOB!!! It’s so true that we have to get beyond our comfort zone and build relationships with unbelievers so that God will open doors for us to share Christ with them(alot of churches and even Christians just don’t get that, unfortunately). The days of “bible thumping” are gone and we as Christians have to show unbelievers that we truely care about them..instead of passing out tracts and going on our way! Last year at PowerPlant ,(Myrtle Beach) Anna’s eyes were opened to this concept and like you, she saw how people just crave to be valued and listened to. The church planter (Doug Doorman) they worked with planted tremendous seeds in her life, as well as the lives of Bobby’s, Katie /Alex and Meg”s! His passion is building relationships that lead to sharing Christ. Now she is under the guidance of church planters, Josh and Khara Tait in Prince Rupert BC( a LONG way from her mom) and they too have the same passion for people. I am always amazed by God’s incredible timing and attention to the details of our lives. How incredible it is to see you in such a great church, touching the lives of young students who will be forever changed by your (and Jen’s) investment in their lives. I am sure the Lord has many great years of service awaiting you!! I just love that I am “one of your mom’s” that had the honor to nurture and love on you for so many years at GPBC!!! Love you bunches, K
Thanks Kaye, you know I wouldn’t be the same person if it were not for the influence of your family (and your Dad). I have seen some people really gifted at sharing the gospel with anyone and have seen tracts used in a loving and also effective way. However, I think one of the most effective ways to share Christ is with a friend. And, it is also the way people are more likely to actually do it
