Had to say some hard things today…

A new post again–yeah!

I had to say some tough things to someone today that I really like and think of as a great person. It is always tough to confront things in someone’s life, but it also is a beautiful process when done the right way.  I think that it has been so long since I really was involved in a discipling relationship that I forgot how effective they are in growing people.  Something unique happens when a trusted friend helps us process through what God is doing in our life and keeps us accountable to surrender ourselves to Him?

How many of us actually have friends that are willing to speak truth in love to us?  How many friends do we have that are intentionally seeking out opportunities to help us grow spiritually?  Proverbs 27:6 says, “Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.”  Think about that.
